Authenticated SSRF via divergent URL parsing
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
SSRF in LearningCircuit Local Deep Research before 1.6.10 allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services via crafted URLs. The safe_get path validates a URL with urllib.parse.urlparse but sends it with requests, whose parser interprets a backslash-at-sign authority differently and connects to the embedded internal host. A low-privilege account that can supply a fetched URL is sufficient to bypass the host check and read responses from services reachable by the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
