CVE-2026-4649Network attack vector

Message disclosure and injection via unauthenticated federation

Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026

Authentication bypass in KNIME Business Hub before 1.18.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and inject internal broker messages. A workflow running in an executor can install and register an Apache Artemis federated mirror without authenticating to the original broker, which replicates messages in both directions. Normal user privileges plus workflow-execution permission are required because Artemis is not externally exposed; exploitation discloses all broker messages and permits new-message injection.
