CVE-2026-46481Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential and bot-token disclosure via workflow response

Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026

Information disclosure in OpenMetadata before 1.12.4 allows remote authenticated users to obtain database credentials and a bot JWT. The POST /api/v1/automations/workflows TEST_CONNECTION response replaces the masked request password with cleartext and serializes the ingestion-bot token into the response body. Any non-admin SSO user able to test a Database Service connection can reuse that token for bot-level API access and can read or modify services and metadata.
