Cross-workspace assistant takeover via unfiltered field assignment
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Mass assignment in Flowise before 3.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to move assistants across workspaces via crafted API requests. The Assistant service passes the entire request body to Object.assign, allowing client-controlled id and workspaceId fields to reach the persisted entity. An authenticated member with edit permission and a target workspace UUID can reassign an assistant, exposing its prompts, tools, and credentials there.
