Expired-token acceptance via omitted activity check
Published Jul 6, 2026 · Updated Jul 6, 2026
Session expiration failure in Apache Camel camel-keycloak allows remote attackers to authenticate via expired signed access tokens. KeycloakSecurityHelper.parseAndVerifyAccessToken calls TokenVerifier.withChecks without IS_ACTIVE, leaving the exp and nbf claims unevaluated. Affected routes in 4.18.0 through 4.18.2 and 4.19.0 through 4.20.0 must trust this helper; the token must retain a valid signature, subject, and expected issuer.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
