Cross-role vector-store access via missing permission checks
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Flowise before 3.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to access and alter OpenAI vector stores. The OpenAI Assistants vector-store router invokes CRUD controllers without checkPermission or checkAnyPermission middleware for the requested operation. Any authenticated account, regardless of its assigned role, can read stored documents and create, modify, or delete vector stores and files.
