Administrator token disclosure via unchecked admin_id
Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026
Authorization bypass in Vvveb before 1.0.8.3 allows remote authenticated users to read other administrators' REST API tokens. The admin/auth-token controller trusts the request's admin_id as the token-query condition without checking it against the logged-in administrator or requiring a token-specific permission. A lower-privileged backend administrator can reveal plaintext tokens and use their owners' API permissions to read or modify site data.
