Private-network data access via redirectable presentation URLs
Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026
SSRF in presentation URL handling in BigBlueButton before 3.0.23 allows remote authenticated users to access private network assets. PresentationUrlDownloadService followed redirects without pinning validated DNS results, allowing a destination to change between validation and retrieval. High-privilege access is required; successful requests expose private-address resources without data modification or service interruption.
