Authenticated code execution via Git configuration overwrite
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
File overwrite in HAXcms PHP and NodeJS before 26.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through Git filters. In PHP, saveOutline passes client-controlled location and contents values to writeLocation, allowing .git/config replacement inside the site root; the advisory identifies no NodeJS locus. A valid account and site token are required, and successful execution permits reading, changing, or deleting content across hosted sites.
