Account takeover via unsanitized iframe source
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
Stored XSS in HAX CMS before 26.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when a victim views crafted content. The content sanitizer preserves executable javascript URI or srcdoc content in iframe source attributes instead of rejecting it. Any authenticated content author can store the payload; victim interaction exposes browser-readable tokens and permits actions in the victim's session.
