Command execution via unsanitized Git arguments
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
OS command injection in HAXcms PHP before 26.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through Git operations. Git.php concatenates branch, remote, path, and other caller-supplied values into shell strings that proc_open executes without argument escaping. Exploitation requires control of Git-related configuration values, directly or through another configuration-write flaw, and runs commands as the web-server process.
