Unauthenticated repository disclosure via user ID substitution
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
Authorization bypass in HAXTheWeb HAXcms (PHP) 2.0.0 through 25.0.0 allows remote attackers to read Git repositories and commit history. The unauthenticated //gitlist/ endpoint indexes repositories by site-owner username and accepts a substituted user ID without checking access. Knowledge of a site owner's user ID and network reachability are sufficient to expose current source and historical commits, including secrets retained in history.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
