CVE-2026-46368Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated root command execution via setInitAction

Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026

Command injection in luci-app-https-dns-proxy through 2025.12.29-5 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The setInitAction ubus RPC handler passes shell metacharacters from its name parameter into a root-executed init action without restrictive validation. Exposure is limited to OpenWrt devices with the optional package installed, and exploitation requires the luci.https-dns-proxy ACL permission.
