Unauthenticated image disclosure via path traversal
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Path traversal in AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read image files accessible to the PHP process without authentication. The view/img/image404Raw.php endpoint concatenates the image GET parameter into a filesystem path and passes matching image files to readfile() without real-path containment. A target must have recognized image magic bytes and be readable by the PHP user; the flaw exposes private or cross-directory images but not arbitrary non-image files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
