CVE-2026-46336Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file write outside library via unsanitized rename

Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026

Path traversal in Manyfold 0.96.0 through 0.139.3 allows remote authenticated users to write or move files outside its library. The ModelFile filename field reaches File.join(model.path, filename) without removing traversal segments, so a rename resolves beyond the model path. Any authenticated user permitted to edit an uploaded file can place or move that file elsewhere in the container filesystem, with no reported ability to read existing files.
