CVE-2026-4622Network attack vector

Authenticated OS command execution via undisclosed injection

Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026

OS command injection in NEC Aterm router firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands over the network. NEC has not disclosed the affected request, parameter, or command-building operation that passes attacker-controlled input to the operating system. Exploitation requires high privileges, high attack complexity, and active user interaction; successful exploitation permits reading or altering router data and interrupting service.
