Local service interruption via NULL media_gt dereference
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
NULL pointer dereference in Linux Kernel 6.10 allows local users to trigger a kernel page fault through the Xe HDCP GSC status path. intel_hdcp_gsc_check_status() reads gt->uc.gsc through media_gt even when configfs has disabled media GT and left media_gt unallocated and NULL. Exposure requires media GT to be disabled through configfs and subsequent HDCP status processing; the documented consequence is a kernel page fault.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
