Kernel memory corruption via signed position overflow

Integer overflow in Linux Kernel batman-adv allows attackers to read and corrupt kernel memory via crafted OGMs on the same mesh segment. In batadv_iv_ogm_send_to_if, buff_pos is stored as s16 while batadv_iv_ogm_aggr_packet validates packet size as int, allowing the position to wrap before buffer access. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated mesh neighbor and a large-MTU interface, and can disclose or overwrite kernel memory or trigger a kernel panic.
