CVE-2026-4619Network attack vector

Arbitrary file overwrite via path traversal

Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026

Path traversal in NEC Platforms Aterm WX3600HP before 1.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite arbitrary files. NEC identifies path traversal as the mechanism but has not disclosed the affected request handler or how attacker-controlled path data reaches the file-write operation. Exploitation requires LAN-side access and high-privilege authentication to the router, and it can replace files accessible to the vulnerable process.
