Unauthenticated queue manipulation via unused token validation
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
Improper authorization in SourceCodester Patients Waiting Area Queue Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to create queue records. Patient Check-In Module handlers in /php/api_patient_checkin.php process appointment and walk-in requests without calling the defined ValidateToken function. Anonymous network access is sufficient to insert fraudulent check-ins and disrupt queue integrity; no code execution or administrative access is demonstrated.
