Kernel heap disclosure via short printer response

Information disclosure in the Linux Kernel usblp driver allows local users to read stale kernel heap data through sysfs or ioctl. The driver discards a short USB control-transfer length, trusts the printer's larger length prefix, and exposes bytes left uninitialized in its 1,024-byte device-ID buffer. A connected USB printer must return the crafted two-byte response; subsequent reads disclose up to 1,021 attacker-sized bytes of stale heap data.
