Kernel memory corruption via unchecked RDMA length
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in the Linux Kernel mana RDMA driver allows local users with CAP_NET_RAW to corrupt kernel memory via a uAPI request. mana_ib_create_qp_rss accepts rx_hash_key_len from userspace, and mana_ib_cfg_vport_steering passes it unchecked to memcpy, overflowing the fixed-size req->hashkey field. The raw-packet QP path and a mana RDMA device must be reachable; corruption can disclose or modify adjacent kernel memory or crash the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
