CVE-2026-46143

Service interruption via repeated playback graph opens

Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026

Memory leak in the Linux Kernel Qualcomm ASoC driver allows local users to exhaust kernel memory through repeated playback preparation. The q6apm_lpass_dai_prepare() playback path calls q6apm_graph_open() whenever prepare runs, even when the DAI already holds a graph. Reachability requires local access to an affected Qualcomm AudioReach playback path; repeated preparation consumes kernel memory and can interrupt service.
