Work-queue resource leak via incomplete error unwind
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Resource-management error in Linux Kernel 6.8 and later affected lines causes incomplete cleanup after RSS queue-creation failures. In mana_ib_create_qp_rss(), the first failure path decrements the work-queue index twice, and a failed mana_ib_install_cq_cb() leaves a created WQ object undestroyed. Published sources do not identify an attacker-controlled trigger or an operational consequence beyond incorrect resource cleanup.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
