Kernel corruption via shared completion queues
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Improper input validation in the Linux Kernel RDMA/mana driver allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through its userspace API. The mana_ib_create_qp_rss() path fails to reject work queues that share one completion queue, triggers WARN_ON(), and continues into kernel corruption. Low-privileged local access to the RDMA/mana userspace API and a usable MANA RDMA device are required; the reported consequence is kernel corruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
