Out-of-bounds read in the EROFS directory parser in Linux Kernel allows local users to read kernel memory or crash via a crafted image. The trailing-dirent path subtracts an unchecked nameoff from maxsize; an oversized offset underflows the length passed to strnlen(), which reads beyond the directory block. Exploitation requires local delivery and user interaction that causes the kernel to parse the crafted EROFS filesystem image.
