CVE-2026-46041

Service interruption via sleep while holding spinlock

Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026

Concurrency flaw in the Greybus BeaglePlay transport in Linux Kernel allows local users to interrupt service through transmit-buffer pressure. hdlc_append() sleeps for circular-buffer space while hdlc_tx_frames() holds tx_producer_lock, triggering an illegal scheduling operation in atomic context. Reachability requires the gb-beagleplay path and enough transmit pressure to exhaust buffer space; the resulting fault affects availability only.
