Service interruption via leaked amdgpu RAS context
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Memory leak in the Linux Kernel amdgpu RAS initialization path allows local users to interrupt service by exhausting kernel memory. On failure, amdgpu_ras_init() returns from amdgpu_nbio_ras_sw_init() without releasing its allocated con context. The path requires an AMD GPU with RAS initialization and a failing NBIO setup call; public records do not demonstrate repeatable triggering.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
