Browser script execution via unencoded sname output
Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Code Projects Exam Form Submission 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser. The /admin/update_s6.php handler returns the attacker-controlled sname parameter directly in an HTML response without filtering or context-appropriate encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to render the crafted response; resulting script runs in that browser session and can alter displayed content or issue requests with the victim's authority.
