Kernel crash via queued RDMA work reuse
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Race condition in Linux Kernel RDMA/iwcm allows remote attackers to crash the kernel through iWARP connection activity. The work handler returns an embedded iwcm_work item to its free list while its unique workqueue entry remains queued, allowing INIT_WORK reuse to corrupt workqueue lists. The affected path requires the RDMA iwcm subsystem and iWARP connection activity; the observed failure is a kernel BUG and service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
