CVE-2026-45806Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated internal endpoint access via unfiltered image import

Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026

SSRF in Penpot before 2.15.0 allows remote authenticated users with file-edit access to reach internal endpoints through image import. The create-file-media-object-from-url RPC passes the supplied URL to media/download-image, whose shared HTTP client neither filters private destinations nor rechecks redirect targets. File-edit permission is required; successful requests originate from the backend and can disclose accepted image content or expose internal-service reachability through response and timing differences.
