CVE-2026-45802Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Service interruption via cyclic PDF references

Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026

Resource exhaustion in Setasign FPDI before 2.6.7 allows remote authenticated users to crash PDF-processing scripts with crafted PDFs. The cross-reference parser follows repeated /Prev offsets, and page attribute lookup recursively resolves cyclic Parent objects without rejecting previously visited references. Exploitation requires an application to process user-supplied PDFs; repeated parsing can sustain service unavailability through memory exhaustion or time-outs.
