Embedded malicious code in Guardrails AI Guardrails 0.10.1 allows remote attackers to execute a downloaded payload when the package is imported. Injected statements in guardrails/init.py run at import time, retrieve a remote Python artifact, and execute it on Linux. Execution requires installation of the compromised PyPI release and an import of guardrails; the payload then runs with the importing process's access to local files and credentials.
