Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized firstName
Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Simple E-Learning System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. The user-profile update handler places the POST firstName value into a SQL query without sanitizing it, enabling error-based, Boolean-based blind, and time-based blind injection. A valid session is required; successful requests can disclose users' credentials and modify or delete database records.
