Secret disclosure via incomplete ServerSideDiff annotation sanitization
Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026
Information disclosure in Argo CD 3.2.0 through 3.2.11, 3.3.9, and 3.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to read Kubernetes Secrets. HideSecretData sanitizes the live argument but can leave kubectl.kubernetes.io/last-applied-configuration unmasked in a predicted live Secret returned by ServerSideDiff. Exploitation requires permission to view application diffs and a Secret previously written through client-side apply; the disclosed values can include data, stringData, and sensitive annotations.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 3.2.0, < 3.2.12
