Authenticated file read via unsanitized migration path
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Path traversal in AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server-side text files through updateFile. In view/update.php, the updateFile value is concatenated beneath updatedb/ without sanitization or an allowlist and passed to PHP file(), whose returned lines are echoed by the migration runner. Administrator access is required, and disclosure is limited to text files readable by the web-server process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
