Restricted content export via missing element authorization
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Incorrect authorization in affected Pimcore releases allows remote authenticated users with WordExport access to export restricted content. TranslationController.php resolves attacker-controlled element types and IDs, then renders pages, snippets, emails, or objects without enforcing each target element’s view permission. Backend access with the word_export permission is required in 11.5.16 and earlier, 12.0.0-RC1 through 12.3.6, and 2026.1.0 through 2026.1.2; exploitation discloses content the account cannot otherwise view.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
