Kernel memory disclosure in OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation before 0.9.0 allows local users to copy kernel bytes into telemetry. The Java TLS do_vfs_ioctl kprobe in bpf/generictracer/java_tls.c uses bpf_probe_read rather than bpf_probe_read_user on the attacker-controlled third ioctl argument. Exploitation requires Java TLS instrumentation and a local instrumented process that issues the magic ioctl; exposed bytes reach the privileged agent and downstream telemetry systems.
