CVE-2026-45669Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Reflected XSS via incomplete redirect URL encoding

Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026

Reflected XSS in Nuxt 3.4.3 through 3.21.5 and 4.0.0-alpha.1 through 4.4.5 allows remote attackers to run script via redirects. The SSR path in packages/nuxt/src/app/composables/router.ts inserts the external destination into a meta-refresh content attribute after encoding only double quotes, so angle brackets terminate the attribute and introduce attacker-supplied elements. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled input to navigateTo() with external enabled and a victim to load the resulting redirect response; injected JavaScript then runs under the application origin.
