Authenticated command execution via unescaped echo interpolation
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
OS command injection in Dokploy 0.28.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on managed servers via tRPC. The application.updateTraefikConfig endpoint accepts traefikConfig as an unrestricted string, and writeConfigRemote embeds it within a single-quoted echo command executed over SSH. An admin or owner account, an application on an SSH-configured server, and a crafted single quote are required; injected commands run with the managed server's SSH-user privileges.
