Credential theft via unchecked repository endpoint access
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Missing authorization in Arcane before 1.19.0 allows remote authenticated users to exfiltrate Git credentials via repository APIs. Eight Huma handlers omit checkAdmin(ctx), and UpdateRepository preserves encrypted secrets when only a repository URL is changed. A default-role user can repoint a configured repository, then invoke test, branches, or files to make Arcane decrypt and send its PAT or SSH key.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
