CVE-2026-45610Public exploitNetwork attack vector

2FA disablement via unprotected cross-origin POST

Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to disable a logged-in user's 2FA through a crafted page. plugin/LoginControl/set.json.php trusts the session cookie, omits request-origin and token checks, and passes the POST value to LoginControl::setUser2FA(). Exploitation requires the LoginControl plugin, an active victim session, and a cookie not restricted by SameSite=Strict; the direct consequence is 2FA disablement.
