Stored XSS via unescaped stream key attribute
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Stored XSS in the Live plugin in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a stream key. modeYoutubeLive.php raw-echoes live_transmitions.key into a quoted class attribute, while saveLive.php stores the request key without an allowlist or HTML escaping. A canStream account can plant the payload, and JavaScript runs in the AVideo origin when any authenticated or anonymous visitor opens the attacker's live page.
