Authenticated command execution via untrusted eval input

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Eval injection in DIRACGrid DIRAC RequestManager allows remote authenticated users to execute commands in affected releases before each fixed version. getRequestCountersWeb prefixes an unrecognized groupingAttribute with Request. and passes the result to eval(), permitting a crafted dunder expression to reach operating-system functions. Any authenticated DIRAC user can run commands as the service account and access configuration, database credentials, proxies, tokens, and local logs.
