Unauthenticated SSRF via absolute proxy paths
Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026
SSRF in OpenZiti zrok before 2.0.3 allows remote attackers to retrieve server-side responses from attacker-chosen URLs. The Python SDK ProxyShare route passes an absolute request path to urllib.parse.urljoin, which replaces the configured target before requests.request sends it. A reachable ProxyShare endpoint is required; exploitation permits unauthenticated requests to internal, loopback, or external HTTP services and discloses their responses.
