Post-login phishing via userinfo redirect bypass
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Open redirect in Roxy-WI 8.2.6.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to redirect authenticated users via a crafted next parameter. The /login handler rejects next values containing HTTP scheme strings but concatenates other input after request.host, so an @host value becomes the URL authority consumed by window.location.replace(). Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted login URL and authenticate; the resulting redirect enables phishing and credential harvest.
