Stored XSS via unescaped log rendering
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Stored XSS in Roxy-WI 8.2.6.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser through crafted access-log fields. The wrap_line and highlight_word functions concatenate log content into raw HTML, and log-viewer code injects the response with .html() and .append(). An attacker needs only to reach a managed public HAProxy or Nginx service, but execution requires an administrator to open its log viewer.
