Authenticated code execution via HAProxy directive injection
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Configuration injection in Roxy-WI 8.2.6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code on managed HAProxy servers. HAProxy section-save handlers accept newline-bearing option values, and three Jinja templates render them verbatim before uploading and reloading the generated configuration. Any user-role account in the target server's management group can add external-check directives that execute as the haproxy user on each health-check tick.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
