Authenticated command execution via unsanitized MAC parameter
Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026
Command injection in Tenda F453 1.0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through the web interface. The FormWriteFacMac function passes the unvalidated mac parameter to doSystemCmd, which interprets shell metacharacters in the request value. Low-privilege access to the web interface is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the httpd process's device privileges.
