Authenticated code execution via unchecked string concatenation
Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in the F453 1.0.0.3 Parameters Handler allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted request. The fromSafeClientFilter function passes attacker-controlled Go data to strcat without checking its length, overflowing the stack buffer s. Access to the router's HTTP management handler is required, and successful exploitation can crash the service or execute code in the httpd process.
